Mortgage

When coronavirus hit and everything got shut down, my husband didn’t go back to work for almost 2 months later than he usually does. My husband works out of state for a company called Donegal Construction. It’s a job that is seasonal so he usually is laid off December through early March. His line of work is milling roads. He is the primary caregiver. His work wasn’t considered “essential” by Gov. Tom Wolf. We started a moving company and awaiting PUC approval currently. But moves stopped also when coronavirus hit. Can’t get any loans for a house to move if you lost your job due to coronavirus and on unemployment. So our income has literally dropped below half of what it usually is. We have 2 kids that one started Kindergarten this year and one started 9th grade. We’ve lived in our home for 5 years now and I’m afraid we are going to have to sell because we can’t keep up. We are behind on utilities and behind on mortgage. When my husband went back to work there is some weeks he only gets 1-2 days a week. We are just very behind and just trying to catch up but it’s like we just can’t. Mortgage is under my husbands name Derrick Konop @ Citizens One.
